Cuprinol Ultimate Garden Wood Preserver is a water-based, timber treatment for all your exterior rough-sawn wood, including sheds, fences, summerhouses and cabins. Formulated to offer UV protection, the added waxes and resins provide superb weather protection and deeply penetrate the wood to resist decay and blue stain. Lightly tinted in a range of colours it's an ideal product to add colour to your garden whilst protecting the wood.

Preparation
Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.
- To clean wood give it a good brush with a stiff brush to remove any dirt, debris or loose wood
- If the wood has been previously stained, painted or varnished, we recommend you strip it back to the bare wood. For previously stained decking use

Application
Before applying stir the product thoroughly and test a small area to ensure colour and adhesion. Colours can vary dependant on surface to be treated.
- Apply 2 coats for an even finish
- Allow the previous coat to soak in before applying the next coat, usually 2-6 hours under normal weather conditions
- Recoat within 2-3 days of previous coat, if a longer period elapses try a test area to ensure product is not repelled
- Apply only in dry conditions, above 5°C and when bad weather is not forecast
- Please note that the type of wood and any previous treatment will affect colour Avoiding splashing of surrounding plants, brickwork, glass, PVCu, etc. Any splashing should be cleaned up immediately
- For a strong colour change more coats may be needed
- If using more than one tin it’s advisable to mix together in a large container or finish in a corner before starting a new can to ensure consistency in colour

Note: Always follow the manufacturer instructions found on the tin.
Aftercare & Storage
To maintain your treated wood reapply a maintenace coat each year to prolong the life. Regular cleaning with a dampened cloth or brush can also prolong the life of your treated wood.
Store any remaining product in dry conditions and protect from frost and sunlight
